-
A
Spend 3 minutes on it until certain
-
B
Find the most distinctive edge feature of the shape and check which answer option cannot accommodate it — eliminate rather than confirm; if still tied, guess and move on
-
C
Skip and never return
-
D
Pick the first answer that looks reasonable without elimination
Why this is the answer
On time-limited spatial tests, elimination beats confirmation. Every distinctive feature (unusual curve, sharp angle, asymmetric notch) eliminates at least one answer. After two eliminations you're choosing between two options — at that point a rapid intuitive judgment plus moving on is better than extended analysis. Never leave a question blank — there's no penalty for guessing on the ASVAB.
