Emergency exits, interior lighting, passenger signaling devices, and required emergency equipment (such as fire extinguishers, spare fuses where applicable, and warning devices) are essential to passenger safety. If any of these are missing, broken, or not functioning, the bus must not be driven until the problem is fixed.
