About the Nevada Notary exam
Nevada Secretary of State. Like every state, Nevada adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.

- Commission term: 4 years.
- Nevada notaries are commissioned by the Secretary of State; must be a Nevada resident and at least 18; $10,000 bond required.
