About the Oklahoma Notary exam
The Oklahoma Notary exam is administered by the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. Like every state, Oklahoma adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Commission fee: approximately $10 application.
- Commission term: 4 years.
- Oklahoma notaries are commissioned by the Secretary of State; must be an Oklahoma resident and at least 18.
