About the North Carolina Real Estate exam
North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Like every state, North Carolina adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $64 exam fee; $50 license fee.
- North Carolina requires 75 hours of pre-licensing education; the NCREC administers licensing.
