-
A
Regulars deserve exceptions
-
B

-
C
VIPs are exempt from law
-
D
Only strangers must follow rules
Why this is the answer
Reinforcing that responsible-service standards apply to everyone — including regulars, VIPs, friends, and staff — helps because consistent enforcement avoids the favoritism that can lead to over-service or illegal sales. The law does not exempt familiar or important customers, and bending the rules for them creates both legal risk and an inconsistent culture that other staff may copy. Managers should make clear that the standards are universal. Treating all patrons by the same responsible-service rules protects the establishment and keeps the compliance culture credible and effective.
