About the Missouri CDL exam
The Missouri CDL exam is administered by the Missouri Department of Revenue. Like every state, Missouri adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $22.50.
- Skills testing: Missouri DOR license offices.
- Missouri has one of the most extensive third-party CDL testing programs in the nation, with hundreds of authorized employer and school test sites.
To get started, read the official Missouri handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Missouri Department of Revenue.
What's in the Missouri exam: Practice tests for the Commercial Driver's License written exam. Questions reflect the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Commercial Driver's License Manual that all states adopt as the basis for their CDL exams.
