About the Colorado Insurance exam
Colorado Department of Insurance. Like every state, Colorado adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.

- Colorado uses PSI Exams; resident applicants must pass a background check before a license is issued.
