About the Iowa Insurance exam
Iowa Department of Insurance. Like every state, Iowa adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $50 exam fee.
- Iowa uses PSI Exams; applicants must pass a criminal background check.
