About the Kentucky Insurance exam
The Kentucky Insurance exam is administered by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Like every state, Kentucky adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $50 exam fee.
- Kentucky uses Pearson VUE; fingerprint background check required for all new license applicants.
