About the Utah Insurance exam
The Utah Insurance exam is administered by the Utah Driver License Division. Like every state, Utah adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $50 exam fee.
- Utah uses PSI Exams; background check required.
To get started, read the official Utah handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 70%, and then schedule your exam with the Utah Driver License Division.
