About the Florida NCLEX exam
Florida Board of Nursing. Like every state, Florida adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- NCLEX + state licensing fee: approximately $200 NCLEX fee + $100 FL fee.
- State nursing board: Florida Board of Nursing (FBON).
- Florida is an NLC member; Florida is also one of the largest states for international nursing graduate applications and uses the CGFNS CES for foreign-educated applicants.
