About the Hawaii NCLEX exam
Hawaii Board of Nursing. Like every state, Hawaii adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- NCLEX + state licensing fee: approximately $200 NCLEX fee + $25 HI fee.
- State nursing board: Hawaii Board of Nursing.
- Hawaii is NOT an NLC member; nurses must apply separately for a Hawaii licence. Hawaii has a relatively high demand for nurses due to the healthcare needs of its remote island population.
