About the Missouri Notary exam
The Missouri Notary exam is administered by the Missouri Department of Revenue. Like every state, Missouri adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Commission fee: approximately $5 application.
- Commission term: 4 years.
- Missouri notaries are commissioned by the Secretary of State; must be a Missouri resident and at least 18.
