About the Alabama Real Estate exam
The Alabama Real Estate exam is administered by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Like every state, Alabama adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $30 exam fee; $85 license issuance.
- Alabama requires 60 hours of pre-licensing education and a 6-hour real estate contract course.
