About the Florida Real Estate exam
Florida Real Estate Commission. Like every state, Florida adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $36.75 exam fee; $89 license fee.
- Florida requires 63 hours of pre-licensing education; the DBPR regulates real estate and real estate exam is administered by Pearson VUE.
To get started, read the official Florida handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 75%, and then schedule your exam with the Florida Real Estate Commission.
