About the Georgia Real Estate exam
The Georgia Real Estate exam is administered by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. Like every state, Georgia adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $121 exam fee; $170 license fee.
- Georgia requires 75 hours of pre-licensing education for salesperson applicants; the GREC administers licensing.
To get started, read the official Georgia handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 75%, and then schedule your exam with the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
