About the Iowa Real Estate exam
Iowa Real Estate Commission. Like every state, Iowa adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $55 exam fee; $170 license fee.
- Iowa requires 60 hours of pre-licensing education; the Iowa Real Estate Commission administers licensing.
