About the Minnesota Real Estate exam
The Minnesota Real Estate exam is administered by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Like every state, Minnesota adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $65 exam fee; $90 license fee.
- Minnesota requires 90 hours of pre-licensing education; the MRERD administers licensing through PSI.
