About the Oregon Real Estate exam
Oregon Real Estate Commission. Like every state, Oregon adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $75 exam fee; $230 license fee.
- Oregon requires 150 hours of pre-licensing education — one of the highest nationally; the OREA administers licensing.
To get started, read the official Oregon handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 75%, and then schedule your exam with the Oregon Real Estate Commission.
