About the Tennessee Real Estate exam
The Tennessee Real Estate exam is administered by the Tennessee Department of Safety. Like every state, Tennessee adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $39 exam fee; $91 license fee.
- Tennessee requires 90 hours of pre-licensing education; the TREC administers licensing through PSI.
