What does Hazard Class 8 represent?

HAZARD CLASS 8 is CORROSIVES — materials (acids and strong bases/alkalis) that can DESTROY or DAMAGE living tissue (skin burns), metals, and other materials on contact. Examples: battery acid (sulfuric acid), hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide. CDL hazmat.
