About the Alabama Motorcycle exam
The Alabama Motorcycle exam is administered by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Like every state, Alabama adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $36 (Class M endorsement).
- Alabama accepts MSF Basic RiderCourse completion to waive the road skills test.
To get started, read the official Alabama handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
What's in the Alabama exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
