About the Alaska Motorcycle exam
The Alaska Motorcycle exam is administered by the Alaska Division of Motor Vehicles. Like every state, Alaska adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $15 endorsement.
- Alaska's cold climate makes MSF course timing critical; most riders schedule spring courses before the riding season.
To get started, read the official Alaska handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Alaska Division of Motor Vehicles.
What's in the Alaska exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
