About the Maryland Motorcycle exam
The Maryland Motorcycle exam is administered by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration. Like every state, Maryland adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $72 (Class M in DL fee).
- Maryland's MSP offers MSF curriculum; completion at a Maryland-licensed provider waives the MVA road skills test.
To get started, read the official Maryland handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.
What's in the Maryland exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
