About the Michigan Motorcycle exam
The Michigan Motorcycle exam is administered by the Michigan Secretary of State. Like every state, Michigan adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $25 endorsement.
- Michigan's MREP offers MSF curriculum; completion waives the SOS road skills test.
To get started, read the official Michigan handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Michigan Secretary of State.
What's in the Michigan exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
