About the Montana Motorcycle exam
The Montana Motorcycle exam is administered by the Montana Motor Vehicle Division. Like every state, Montana adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $6.12 endorsement.
- Montana's MSF Safety Program is available at multiple sites; completion waives the MVD road skills test.
