About the New Jersey Motorcycle exam
The New Jersey Motorcycle exam is administered by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. Like every state, New Jersey adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $24 endorsement.
- New Jersey's MVC accepts MSF Basic RiderCourse completion to waive the road skills test; one of the busiest state programs due to population density.
To get started, read the official New Jersey handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.
What's in the New Jersey exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
