About the New Mexico Motorcycle exam
The New Mexico Motorcycle exam is administered by the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division. Like every state, New Mexico adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $18 (Class M endorsement).
- New Mexico MVD accepts MSF Basic RiderCourse completion in lieu of the road skills test.
