About the New York Motorcycle exam
The New York Motorcycle exam is administered by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles. Like every state, New York adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $80 (in DL fee structure; Class M).
- New York's MOTTS program offers MSF curriculum; completion waives the DMV road skills test.
