About the North Carolina Motorcycle exam
The North Carolina Motorcycle exam is administered by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles. Like every state, North Carolina adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.

- North Carolina's MSF program is offered at community colleges statewide; completion waives the DMV road test requirement.
