About the Pennsylvania Motorcycle exam
The Pennsylvania Motorcycle exam is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Like every state, Pennsylvania adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $31.50 (Class M in DL fee).
- Pennsylvania's PAMSP offers MSF courses; completion waives the PennDOT road skills test.
To get started, read the official Pennsylvania handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
What's in the Pennsylvania exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
