About the Rhode Island Motorcycle exam
The Rhode Island Motorcycle exam is administered by the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles. Like every state, Rhode Island adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.

- Rhode Island accepts MSF Basic RiderCourse completion to waive the DMV road skills test.
