About the Tennessee Motorcycle exam
The Tennessee Motorcycle exam is administered by the Tennessee Department of Safety. Like every state, Tennessee adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $19.25 endorsement.
- Tennessee's MOST program provides MSF training; completion waives the DOS road skills test.
To get started, read the official Tennessee handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Tennessee Department of Safety.
