About the Texas Motorcycle exam
The Texas Motorcycle exam is administered by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Like every state, Texas adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $16 endorsement.
- Texas' Texas DPS Motorcycle Safety Program (MSP) offers MSF courses; completion waives the DPS road skills test.
