About the Washington Motorcycle exam
The Washington Motorcycle exam is administered by the Washington Department of Licensing. Like every state, Washington adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $54 (Class M in DL fee).
- Washington's WSDOT Motorcycle Safety Program offers MSF curriculum; completion waives the DOL road skills test.
To get started, read the official Washington handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Washington Department of Licensing.
What's in the Washington exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
