About the Wisconsin Motorcycle exam
The Wisconsin Motorcycle exam is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Like every state, Wisconsin adopts the federal standards as a baseline and adds state-specific requirements, fees, and procedures.
- Exam / licence fee: approximately $34 (Class M in DL fee).
- Wisconsin's MSF Safety Program is offered statewide; completion waives the DMV road skills test.
To get started, read the official Wisconsin handbook (linked above), practice with the tests on this page until you consistently score above 80%, and then schedule your exam with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
What's in the Wisconsin exam: Practice tests for the motorcycle endorsement written exam. Questions reflect the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum and state-specific motorcycle operator manuals.
